Please be aware of the large numbers of fake carousel figures on Ebay. If an item seems to good to be true, it probably is. Indonesian fakes will often be billed as "one of a kind", "discovered" in some foreign country or found in somebody's barn, attic or basement. While these stories may sometimes be true, it is worth investigating further by asking the seller for more information. Here is the LINK to an Indonesian import site. You might be able to discern the real prices there. You can also check the Buyers Guide at Carousels.com and their fakes picture page. These pages are a wonderful resource.

If you still have questions about whether a figure is genuine or not, you can post a question in the Ebay Carousel Collectors and Creators Discussion Group. We'll try to help you figure it out.
